Mind Tether is in early access. This page explains what we collect, why, and how we protect it — in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email info@mind-tether.com before you sign up.

1What we collect

  • Account. Your email address, an optional display name, and either an encrypted (hashed) password or an identifier from the OAuth provider you signed in with (Google or Apple).
  • App content. Calendar events, to-do lists, inventory items, custom lists, device nicknames, and notification preferences you create inside the app.
  • Technical. Your IP address, the timestamps of sync requests, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in. We keep short-lived server logs for diagnostics.

Mind Tether hardware devices only broadcast a short identifier over Bluetooth. They don't carry personal data and they don't store anything you put into the app.

2How your data is stored

Your calendar, to-do, inventory, and custom-list content is stored on our servers so it can sync between your devices. Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS and the database sits behind authenticated access controls. We do not read your content, share it with advertisers, train AI models on it, or use it for anything beyond making sync work.

Account metadata — email address, display name, OAuth provider — is stored in plain form on the server so you can sign in.

3Where it lives, and what we don't do with it

Data is stored on servers we operate and is encrypted in transit with HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, train AI models on it, or use it to profile you for anything beyond making Mind Tether work.

4Third parties

When you sign in with Google or Apple, those providers know you used them to sign in to Mind Tether. We receive your email address and display name from them — we never see your password. Apple also offers a "Hide My Email" option that forwards messages from us through a relay address; we treat the relayed address the same way we treat a regular email.

We don't share your data with any other third party. If we ever add payments, a payments processor will see the minimum needed to charge you, and we'll update this page first.

5Sharing inside the app

You can choose to share specific lists, events, or inventory items with other Mind Tether users through groups. Items you share with a group become visible to every current member. If you remove someone from a group, future updates to the shared rows stop reaching them on subsequent syncs.

6Cookies

We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no cross-site trackers.

7Your rights

You can ask us to export or permanently delete your account data at any time. Email info@mind-tether.com from the address tied to your account and we'll handle it within a reasonable time frame. Deletion removes your data from our servers.

8Children

Mind Tether isn't directed at children under 13. Please don't sign up if you're under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher).

9Contact and changes

Questions, corrections, or data requests: info@mind-tether.com.

If anything material in this statement changes, we'll update the page and refresh the date at the top. The product is still in early access, so expect this to evolve before a public launch.
